Wheels create more than just a physical connection with the road - it's visual too. "So the right proportion of wheels to bodywork is extremely important", explains AC Schnitzer Chief -Designer Michele Viandante. "If the wheels are too small, the car soon starts to look leggy and unstable“. The AC Schnitzer forged alloy rims Type V however give a really connected impression: with an external diameter of 22 inches - that's over half a metre - they provide the necessary visual ground adhesion and fill the wheelarches even on vehicles like the new 7-series (F01/F02), the X5 (E70) and the X6 (E71). And the front wheels weight just 14.3 kg each!

The one-piece forged alloys Type V in BiColor Finish reflect their high performance genes from AC Schnitzer in their construction and display this externally: the central element is the delicate but solid-looking spoke matrix with its five triangular webs. The deeply dished centre, and the spokes appearing to rush into it, emphasises the uncompromising dynamic impression.
