AC Schnitzer has unveiled their new tuning program for the BMW 5-Series Touring (F11). The car receives a complete new tuning kit which includes exterior and interior improvements including improved performance.

The BMW 530d develops 286 HP while the upgraded 535d develops 360 HP, the 520d and 525d develop 218 HP and 245 HP respectively. The AC Schnitzer twin sports rear silencer with chromed "Sports Trim“ tailpipe trims (left/right) will soon be available for the 550i, 535i, 535d, 530d and 520d. The chromed "Racing“ tailpipe trim is available for the 520d, 525d and 530d.

Modified suspension, fitted with new springs, is also on offer with the Aachen-based tuner claiming it provides improved balance between "sporty performance and comfort".

Visual upgrades for the estate version of the new 5er come in the form of a bodykit with new bumpers, side skirts and a roof spoiler plus chromed air intakes and bonnet vents. The front spoiler elements and chromed front grille integrate into the design, and highlight the styling of the vehicle. A further aesthetic enhancement to the rear is achieved with the rear skirt insert for drivers of the 5-series Touring (with M-Technik upgrade). The equivalent on the saloon (without M-Technik upgrade) is the matching rear skirt attachment.

AC Schnitzer wheels with the matching tyres provide comfort and a unique appearance. The wheels are available in sizes from 18 to 21 inch in various designs: Type IV silver, Type IV BiColor, Type V forged alloy wheels in BiColor and Type VIII BiColor, and the brand-new Type VIII racing forged rims.

For the interior, AC Schnitzer has developed a range of accessories including carbon fiber decorative trim, aluminum iDrive cover, pedals and footrest, plus a new sports steering wheel.
