German tuner Rieger just released their new body kit for the older E85 BMW Z4. This new body kit consists of a full replacement complete with a front splitter in CF, Side skirts, rear diffuser with cf-style option.

The E89 Z4 have been out for a while and was replaced by the E85 Z4 model, but it’s always good to see older BMW still being on tuners plans.

Chiptuners SKN have released a complete tuning program to the BMW Z4 suitable for daily use and with more than 400hp. The SKN BMW Z4 3.5 RS can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 4.1s with stage 2 that outputs 401 hp.

The upgrade includes:

SKN Power Tuning Stage 3: remapping of the original software, including speed limiter increase

SKN PERFORMANCE stainless steel exhaust system version 1 Designed to reduce the dynamic pressure and to improve heat dissipation. The performance can be increased and optimized with SKN Power Tuning. Back Cat System includes: silencers, muffler, tailpipes including selectable look right or left 2 X 80 mm - sonorous sound

SKN MOTORSPORT Cat replacement pipe

SKN Bilstein B16 PSS10 Coilover Adjustable mono-tube / Upside-Down Technology - 10 parallel stage damping force adjustment - when installed - provides its registered adjustment for individual vehicle appearance and perfect handling - Gas technology ensures that the damper located in the oleic acid is not foamed Front: 30-50mm Rear: 30-50mm

K&N air filter - alternative - Air Intake Induction Kit (without TÜV)

MOTORSPORT BBS CH silver / black
Front: 8.5 X 19 "with Continental Sport Contact III 225/35 ZR 19
Rear: 9.5 X 19 "with Continental Sport Contact III 265/30 ZR 19

SKN MOTORSPORT brake KIT front axle 380 mm / 4 piston

SKN MOTORSPORT clutch with reinforced pressure plate

SKN delivers the highest quality as a matter of principle! In contrast with many mass suppliers on the market, SKN has always placed great emphasis on sensible performance optimisation and TÜV-tested products. The result is that SKN, as market leader, looks after entire fleets (Deutsche Post, Lufthansa) and won the trust of the Federal Ministry of the Interior from a very early stage. Many police vehicles used for undercover assignments have been optimised individually by SKN for many years now. In addition, the TÜV certification and the entitlement to advertise in Germany with the TÜV sign demonstrate great trust in the performance capability of SKN.

Just in time for the start of the cabrio season, HAMANN Motorsport is introducing a comprehensive programme for accessories and modification of the current BMW Z4 Roadster, known internally as the E89. The broad palette of customisation options for the roadster with the fold-away hardtop includes exciting bodywork styling, striking rim designs and powerful performance improvements.

The HAMANN aerodynamics programme is characterised by top-quality workmanship on body components with impressive design and optimised airflow over the vehicle silhouette: The specialists have replaced the series production front spoiler on the front axle with an in-house development that features two integrated LED day lamps. Striking side skirts between the front and the rear impress with a convincing design concept, and lend the Z4 an even lower and longer appearance. The lift force on the rear axle is reduced by a HAMANN technical development that sees a shapely spoiler mounted on the tailgate. A new rear apron completes an impressive overall appearance and makes space for the four tailpipes responsible for the throaty sound of the HAMANN sports exhaust system.

The HAMANN engine specialists have developed a powerful performance improvement for the BMW Z4 sDrive35i engine, which also lifts the 250 km/h limitation. The optimisation of the series production control device has resulted in performance figures of 360 hp / 265 kW at 5230 rpm (standard is 306 hp / 225 kW at 2500 rpm). The maximum torque simultaneously increases to an impressive 540 Nm, which is available in the engine speed range of 1300 to 5000 rpm (standard is 400 Nm at 1300 - 5000). This modification results in a top speed of 285 km/h.

One of the technical highlights in the comprehensive range of wheels is the three-part HAMANN light alloy wheel known as the EDITION RACE "MATT BLACK". The 20" forged wheel combines sportiness with elegance. The matt black, polished spoked rims and the titanium screw joints accentuate the wheel dynamics, while the highly polished rim flange makes for a sophisticated impression. HAMANN is offering the wheel/tyre combination of 8,5Jx20 inch including 235/30ZR20 front tyres with 10,0Jx20 rims plus 295/25ZR20 back tyres from 7,640 Euro. Extra focus is on the new aluminium wheels with special chassis springs that allow the centre of mass on both the front and back axles of the Z4 Roadster to be lowered by 30 millimetres. Handling of the sports car is simultaneously enhanced.

For the interior, HAMANN Motorsport has come up with subtle internal applications. The aluminium gear knob and the set of foot mats with the silver stitched HAMANN logo provide a sporty look. On request, hand-made complete leather fittings in line with the exclusive demands of every BMW Z4 Roadster driver can also be supplied.

The Aachen-based tuning specialist has further optimised the brand-new classic from BMW, which has already received extensive accolades from the trade press.

The BMW Z4 as standard is far from under-powered. But as is well known, enthusiastic drivers can never have enough power. Sufficient reason then for AC Schnitzer to upgrade the Z4 3.5i Turbo to 286 km/h. With a power of 360 HP and an unladen weight of 1485 kg, the open-top roadster from BMW accelerates from a standing start to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Even the most demanding driver will be delighted with this performance.

The driving experience is enhanced acoustically and visually by the stainless steel sports rear silencer and the chromed Racing tailpipe trims.

Equally sporting is the AC Schnitzer suspension variant in the Z4. Thanks to a new spring kit, the transverse acceleration appears to bypass the conventional laws of nature.

This impression is certainly partly supported by the aerodynamic components made of PU-Rim, a high quality flexible plastic. The aerodynamic pack for the new BMW Z4 consists of a chrome front grille and front spoiler, where both components combine to give a more muscular look to the long bonnet lines.

New sports fenders, consisting of wheel arches with integral air outlets for improved cooling of the front brakes and chromed deflectors, optimise the side lines of the roadster.

Finally, the two-piece rear spoiler gives the rear of the BMW Z4 by AC Schnitzer an impressive look; because of the performance of the car, this is probably the aspect which will be seen most by other drivers!

In the inside, both driver and passenger enjoy an impressive interior. The aluminium cover for the i-Drive System Controller, the aluminium foot rests and pedal set, are just a few of the ergonomically perfect controls which give the vehicle elegance and enhance the sporting ambience.

Standing on AC Schnitzer Type IV in 18” or Type VI wheels in 18, 19 or 20 inch, the BMW Z4 takes to the stage for its world premiere. A striking entrance from the Aachen specialist, which will certainly not be forgotten in a hurry.

The M version of the BMW Z4 is famously known by nature for being anything but underpowered, since the chassis of the sports convertible already has a heck of a lot of work with the 343 HP and the forward thrust in the lower gears could last forever.

As is generally known however, the sport oriented motorist can never have enough power at his command. Sufficient cause for Gnther Manhart, who by now has over 25 years experience in rebuilding BMW engines - a first for Europe to transplant a brand new, much stronger heart into the Z4. The transplantation of the ten cylinder engine from the current M5 generation into the narrow engine bay of the roadster was anything but a walk in the park and it earned the Manhart Racing engineers quite a few grey hairs. Nevertheless: everything fitted in the end and now the fire of a 5.0 litre V10 engine with an impressive output of 550 HP blazes above the front axle of the Z4. A catalytic converter, a modified DME electronic control unit and the removal of the factory-set V-Max restriction up to 250 km/h are part of the rebuild. Consistent to the M5 V10 engine Manhart Racing has treated the Z4 to an original M5 E60 6 gear manual transmission which includes a Fichtel & Sachs clutch and a M5 E60 differential. An AC Schnitzer stainless steel exhaust system with four muffler tips which was fitted with HJS racing catalytic converters caters for a perfect V10 sound at the rear.

The Manhart Z4 M V10 goes like hell and thanks to the perfectly tuned Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilovers, the virtually unrestrained power of 550 HP can be brought under control to the tarmac. Black BBS Challenge wheels rotate in the wheel arches of the Manhart Z4 M V10 with 8.5Jx19 ET35 235/35ZR19 front tyres and 10Jx19 ET20 285/30ZR19 back tyres.

Conclusion: 550 HP ten cylinders, an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, kerb weight 1450kg, 2.6kg per HP... who could guess that these impressive figures belong to a Z4? Hardly anyone, however Manhart Racing turns dreams into reality and does this with 25 years experience.

G-POWER isn’t just fast when it comes to HIGH-SPEED world records. The all new BMW Z4 is hot when it comes from the factory. Now G-POWER makes it even hotter.

The G-POWER BI-TRONIK performance module pushes the factory 306 hp/400 Nm to 345 hp/480 Nm. 20 inch G-POWER “SILVERSTONE DIAMOND” alloy wheels with MICHELIN Pilot Sport tyres in the dimension 255/30 ZR 20 and 295/25 ZR 20, G-POWER coil-over suspension and a stainless steel sport rear muffler featuring the legendary G-POWER “DEEPTONE” technology round up the G-POWER package for the BMW Z4 E89.

The G-POWER program for the BMW Z4 E89 touches all key components and lets the nifty BMW Z4 appear even more sporty, beautiful and last but not least exclusive. At first one will notice the especially for the current BMW models designed 20 inch G-POWER SILVERSTONE alloy wheels. Due to the successful combination of double spokes and the "concave design" typical of G-POWER they highlight the breathtaking design of the new BMW Z4 and so separate it for the rest of the mass production.

The G-POWER “diamond cut” provides for the fascinating dynamic appearance of the G-POWER SILVESTONE rim, in contrast to the silver-graphite coated rim body and the bolt applications of stainless steel. An additional feature of the G-POWER SILVERSTONE rim is its weight-optimised design that allows a low rim weight with the same stability, compared to other standard wheels.

A perceptibly improved impression of convenience and a considerably increased agility accompany the minimisation of the unsprung mass: advantages of the G-POWER SILVERSTONE rim, which you can factually experience especially in combination with the low-profile tyres from MICHELIN in the dimension 255/30 ZR 20 and 295/25 ZR 20. Further improvement of the road handling is realized through the continuously height-adjustable G-POWER coil-over suspension GZ4-RS with nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound.

In order to benefit from the improvements of road handling and cornering realised by the G-POWER products, the factory output even in the strongest version provided by BMW, the Z4 sDrive 35i, is not enough. That is why G-POWER offers the performance module BI-TRONIK that pushes the factory performance from a standard 306 hp/400 Nm to a more satisfying 345 hp and even more important 480 Nm of torque. In doing so, as for all performance increasing projects of G-POWER, reliability and durability were the top priorities during the development of the BI-TRONIK. Nevertheless, a performance and a torque increase of approx. 20% could be realised. Due to the use of original plug-in connectors, the G-POWER BI-TRONIK can be easily and quickly integrated; residue-free removal is possible, as well. Of course, all standard engine protection and diagnostic functions of the engine control unit are maintained to full extent.

Naturally the performance figures benefit from this output improvement. The figure from stand still to 100 km/h is now less than 5 seconds (4,7 seconds).

Next to the output and the suspension of the BMW Z4, G-POWER has taken care of the sound, as well. The full stainless steal G-POWER 4-trim sport rear muffler with its 4 x 83 mm tailpipes gives the BMW Z4 a deep, throaty sound that turns heads but is at now time annoying, thanks to the patented G-POWER “DEEPTONE” technology.

One of the tuning firms that managed to show first is Hartge which have revealed their accessories for the new 2009 BMW Z4. The BMW Z4 tuned by Hartge features both exterior and interior modifications.

The Hartge BMW Z4 can be equipped with both 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels along with aluminum pedals and footrest, stainless steel exhaust pipes, special emblems for the exterior and interior plus and also new speedometer with a 300 km/h or 200 MPH maximum speed.
