BMW tuner AC Schnitzer achieved a spectacular double victory in the renowned reader survey of the magazine "sport auto", reflecting the votes of around 12,000 fans of powerful cars. The Aachen company enjoyed a clear win over the competition for the "most porting diesel over 40,000.00 Euro" with the ACS3 3.5dA Touring and in this sector scored 25.8 percent of the total possible votes.
The closest competitor came in with just 16 percent. Previously in the "sport autoTuner Grand Prix", the ACS3 3.5dA, with touring car driver and AC Schnitzer engineering director Manfred Wollgarten at the wheel, put in the best time of the diesels at Hockenheim.
AC Schnitzer's lead was even more impressive in the "most sporting Coupés“. Here the ACS4 Sport Coupé (based on Z4 Coupé) took a convincing win with 37.6 percent. The company, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2007, scored yet another success in the section "most sporting convertibles + roadsters up to 80,000.00 Euro“, where the ACS3 3.5 Cabrio achieved second place. AC Schnitzer thanks all "sport auto" readers who responded for their vote of confidence.
