Evolve Automotive create a very special BMW M2

Not fully satisfied with the already highly regarded BMW M2, the British tuning company Evolve Automotive couldn’t wait for the Bavarian manufacturer to release an even hotter model of the sought-after RWD coupe.

Taking notes from the M4 GTS, Evolve set about making their own bespoke ‘GTS’ version of the M2. The spec list reads as a dream parts specification for any BMW enthusiast. Carbon bonnet and boot, carbon wing, carbon lips, diffusers, intake… even the brakes are carbon ceramic.

To handle the increased performance (currently 401bhp/450ft/lb) Evolve looked to BILSTEIN for the suspension upgrade. Knowing that the B16 coilover suspension kit for the M2 was Nürburgring tested, Evolve added this into the mix without question. The result is nothing short of spectacular, leading people to ask them if BMW released an M2 GTS already.

Now in the second evolution the Evolve M2 GTS, named project Starla, is about to undergo a third phase of changes. This time more focused on track domination Evolve have opted to spec the car with a BILSTEIN Clubsport suspension system. We can’t wait to see how this project continues and it is certainly one to watch through 2017.
