Forge Motorsport Boost Pipe for BMW 135 F20
Forge Motorsport has announced a useful – and futureproof upgrade for the BMW 135; a vastly improved boost pipe that is suitable for both fast road and motorsport tuning.
Many enthusiasts are already aware that the original plastic charge pipe is a real weak link on the N55 lump, and over the last 6 months Forge has received many requests from frustrated owners after the factory charge pipes fail. Following even normal heat cycling, the coupler becomes brittle leading to cracking, fracture and ultimate failure. The Forge alloy replacement uses a CNC coupler to ensure this is a permanent solution.
The Forge boost pipe for BMW 135 F20 will noticeably increase throttle response and decrease turbo lag while allowing youto retain the factory style O-ring throttle lock flange. The pipe uses precision CNC couplers to allow for a quick and easy connection and disconnection. Precision CNC machined flanges make for a perfect and precise fit.
For those looking to really up the ante, the pipes also include water/meth boss built in, for mappers and tuners really looking to lower charge temperatures. This boss can be plugged if not needed, and in usual Forge style, this plug comes complete with the kit.
The alloy hard pipes are powder coated to make for a more durable hard wearing product and the Forge pipe ensures that the factory electronic diverter valve can be retained.
This replaces OEM Pipe Part No. 13717604033 and is not suitable for vehicles with XDrive.
