The KW spring kit with individual height adjustment for BMW M5 and BMW M6

The height adjustable KW spring kits are available for more and more cars. From now on, the so-called KW coilover springs are also available for the current BMW M5 and BMW M6. Compared to regular spring kits, the KW springs with height adjustment allow a continuous lowering and they are also compatible with all adaptive damper control and driving safety systems. The KW spring kit with height adjustment is manufactured in OEM quality, includes a German TÃœV certificate and enables drivers to adapt the car body height to their wheel / tire combination.

Drivers who put a great value on the compromise of comfort and sportiness will find the perfect accessory with the height-adjustable KW spring kits. So the wheel clearance can be adapted to their selected alloy rims with the continuously height adjustment combined with the KW lowering springs made of high-strength chrome-silicon steel. Compared to regular spring kits, the M5 driver is not limited to a fixed “height”. “Whether only at the front or at the rear axle, with our KW spring kits, the height at the front and rear can be varied”, explains KW Product Manager Johannes Wacker. The adjustment of the lowering is done at the vehicle-specific spring plates. During installation, the series springs are simply replaced by the KW coilover springs with their dust protection elements.

Further modifications on the standard suspensions are not necessary. At the current BMW M5, a lowering of 30 mm can be achieved with the KW coilover spring kit. The continuous adjustment range is between 5 and 30 mm at the front and 5 to 25 mm at the rear axle. For the BMW M6 and BMW M6 Convertible it is between 5 – 30 mm in the front and 10 – 30 mm on the rear axle. The installation can be made in every body shop within a few steps. The lowering is individually variable for both M models and the kits include TÃœV-certificates.

The innovative KW coilover spring are available for an increasing number of cars and some are available in vehicle-specific versions for the BMW M3 (E9x), Nissan GT-R (R35) and Porsche 911 (991). The prices for the lowering kits which are compatible with the adaptive standard suspensions, differ depending on the axle- and suspension geometry.
